What’s Ahead - Our 5-Year Plan

  • High School Special Rollout → We’re planning something unique for older learners to make homeschooling high school more engaging and flexible: a program that blends core academics with hands-on pathways into real careers. Instead of only following the typical high school model, students will be able to choose from focused trade tracks and begin building skills for dual enrollment into trade schools or career programs.

  • Middle School Electives → Over time, we’ll add electives to give students more choice and personalization.

  • Parent Support Group → We’re starting a social media–based support community for homeschool parents. A place to share, learn, and connect.

A Sneak Peek at Each Year

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is all about wonder and discovery! Children will explore letters, sounds, numbers, shapes, and colors through play and stories. They’ll learn to observe the world around them by measuring with blocks, planting seeds, and drawing what they see. The focus is on building curiosity, kindness, and confidence.

1st Grade

First graders step into early independence. They’ll practice reading simple books, writing short stories, and solving basic math problems with addition and subtraction. Science and history come alive with hands-on experiments and stories of real people who changed the world. It’s a year of “I can do it myself!”

2nd Grade

Second grade deepens skills while keeping imagination alive. Students will strengthen reading fluency, begin multiplication and division, and explore earth science and communities around the world. They’ll learn how actions—big and small—can make a difference. Curiosity and compassion grow side by side.

3rd Grade

Third grade is a year of stretching wings. Students dive into chapter books, write longer essays, and master multiplication tables. In science, they’ll investigate ecosystems, energy, and the solar system. In history, they’ll explore cultures and timelines. This is the year learners start asking bigger “why” questions and finding their own answers.

4th Grade

Fourth grade builds a solid foundation for upper elementary. Students develop strong reading comprehension, learn fractions and decimals, and investigate electricity, weather, and early U.S. history. They’ll also practice teamwork through projects and debates. It’s about building confidence as thinkers and problem-solvers.

5th Grade

Fifth graders grow into young scholars. They analyze texts, write persuasive essays, and tackle more complex math like geometry and percentages. Science sparks with chemistry and human body systems, while history explores exploration and colonization. Students begin connecting lessons to today’s world, sharpening critical thinking.

6th Grade

Middle school begins! Sixth grade blends deeper academics with self-discovery. Students read novels with big themes, write research papers, and take on pre-algebra. Science includes earth systems and physics basics; history looks at ancient civilizations. It’s a year of learning how the past and present connect, and how their own voice matters.

7th Grade

Seventh grade pushes curiosity further. Students read classic and modern works, write with sophistication, and solve equations in algebra. They’ll explore life science—cells, genetics, ecosystems—and study world history from the Middle Ages to global revolutions. This year emphasizes perspective-taking and expanding horizons.

8th Grade

Eighth grade prepares students for high school success. They’ll read critically, craft arguments, and explore geometry and introductory algebra. Science highlights chemistry, physics, and technology’s role in society. U.S. history is revisited with deeper analysis, setting the stage for civic engagement. It’s a year of independence, reflection, and getting ready to leap forward.
